Joshua (he/him) is a bassist, educator and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. Growing up in a household where a stereo was always playing, his love of music began at an early age. Always fascinated by rhythm, his style is greatly influenced by jazz, improvisation, and African American music. He aims to provide a fun, safe, and supportive learning environment where students can reach their personal goals.
Joshua is an honors graduate of Bunker Hill Community College and is a student of Susan Hagen (Principal double bass of the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra). Additionally, he studied at the annual Berklee College of Music Groove Workshop and has been a featured accompanist in Night of Ideas: Boston, presented by Harvard University.
