Rock out with us in group guitar! Total beginners are welcome to join this low-pressure class anytime. We'll work on rock riffs, strumming chords, note reading, and playing as a group. Students should bring their own acoustic guitar (3/4 size is great at this age). MiniMeter for 3 and 4 year olds is a place for children to explore fundamentals of melody and rhythm through movement, singing, and percussion instruments. We ask that families drop off students for this class, but we welcome parents or caregivers to stay and observe the first couple of sessions if needed. Ukulele is a great instrument to learn at any age, but our youth students especially like it because you can learn your first songs more quickly than on guitar. We'll work on strumming popular songs, note reading, and playing as a group. Students should bring their own ukulele (soprano or concert size).
